In 'Vlieg Met Me Mee', three generations of women unexpectedly find themselves living under one roof again. When daughter Sanne (Brigitte Heitzer) moves in with her mother Dorien (Simone Kleinsma) due to circumstances, and granddaughter Bibi (Lisa Schol) also ends up under the same roof, tensions quickly rise. Due to old irritations and unspoken feelings, the house soon turns into a chaotic, but at times also emotional, pressure cooker.
For how well do you really know your family? What do you share with one another, and what has remained unspoken for years? While mother, daughter, and granddaughter try to understand each other, Paul de Leeuw's songs turn out to articulate exactly what they themselves do not dare to put into words.
In a story with humor, sharp dialogue by Lex Passchier, the writer of 'Oogappels', and direction by Joep Onderdelinden ('Foxtrot' and 'De Hospita'), old wounds are laid bare and room is made for the future. A cheerful and moving musical about letting go and the courage to start over.
Don't miss this new Dutch musical full of hits by Paul de Leeuw!
I love you, for three generations.
This show is scheduled for December 8, 9 & 10 at 20:15 at Theater de Kampanje!*
