Sjef the Mouse loses his home when his tree is unceremoniously sawed down. In a panic, he flees and finds shelter under a log cabin in the forest. Here it is dry, and there is even plenty of food. But Beech the Woodcutter is not happy about this. This cabin belongs to her! That mouse must go, at all costs. When Owl the owl also comes around the corner, the chaos is complete. Beech, Sjef, and Owl become increasingly entangled in their battle for the forest. But whose forest is it really?
