This year, the beaches of Duinoord, Zandloper, and Julianadorp aan Zee once again received the Blue Flag award. On behalf of the Noordkop Beach Exploitation Foundation (SSN), they were presented by Beach Manager Ruud Koelewijn. According to Jan Roelofsen, chairman of SSN, the beaches of Duinoord and Zandloper received the award for the 15th year, a wonderful presentation for the organization. The presentation took place today at Marnemoende Marina in IJsselstein, where representatives of the certified locations proudly received their flags from Hans Oosters, King's Commissioner for the Province of Utrecht.

The Blue Flag is an internationally recognized award for clean and safe beaches and marinas, awarded to locations that meet criteria related to environment and sustainability, information and education, maintenance and facilities, and safety.
