Historic heart of Huisduinen
The characteristic Huisduiner church stands in the middle of the village square of Huisduinen. From the nearby Zeedijk, you have beautiful panoramic views over land and sea. A place full of peace and history.
A place of significance for a thousand years
The origins of the small church date back to around the year 1000, when Huisduinen was still an island: Husiduna. In 1896, a small stone church was built on the old foundation, replacing the wooden one that stood there at the time.
Monument with new possibilities
The current building has been designated as a protected monument under the Monuments Act of 1988. Today, the small church is an atmospheric venue for concerts, lectures, and exhibitions. A space where history and experience come together.
You can visit an exhibition featuring photographs of Huisduinen. There are also musical performances by parents and children from Huisduinen on Saturday and Sunday.
