Willemsoord City Hall

The municipality of Den Helder commissioned Zeestad to develop the new city hall at Willemsoord Zuid. The city office (the place where municipal civil servants have their workplaces) was realized in building 72. And while preserving its distinctive details, the former Mastenloods, a national monument, has been transformed into the public city hall. Here you renew your passport, get married, hold council meetings, etc. Furthermore, the building's architect, Office Winhof, was named Architect of 2023. An honorable distinction.

The Kroonpassage is being redeveloped. Part of the Kroonpassage will remain but is being renovated to accommodate a new supermarket and retail space. The remaining part of the Kroonpassage will be demolished to make room for a new square. In addition to creating a pleasant environment, parking is being improved, and the design of the square takes the changing climate into account.
Construction of the Admiraal is in full swing! In this final section of Halter Bellevue, 54 homes (12 for sale and 42 for rent) and a 450 m² McDonald's are being realized.
Zeestad has started the renovation of Koningstraat, from Oostslootstraat to Spoorstraat. During these works, the sewage system is also being renewed. The project is being carried out in phases so that the neighborhood remains accessible and disruption is kept to a minimum.
