At Bernhardplein / Spoorstraat / Stationsstraat, Helder Vastgoed BV is developing 54 homes (12 owner-occupied and 42 rental homes). Both apartment buildings will be equipped with an elevator. The apartment buildings each have 6 floors. As part of sustainable living, De Admiraal will be equipped with solar panels and individual heat pumps. The homes will not have a gas connection. Progress

In early October, construction company De Nijs started setting up the entire construction site and installing wooden fences and construction gates. The drilling rig has been on site since the end of October. These works will take approximately three weeks.

Redevelopment of Kroonpassage

The Kroonpassage is being redeveloped. Part of the Kroonpassage will remain but is being renovated to accommodate a new supermarket and retail space. The remaining part of the Kroonpassage will be demolished to make room for a new square. In addition to creating a pleasant environment, parking is being improved, and the design of the square takes the changing climate into account.

Redevelopment of Koningstraat

Zeestad has started the renovation of Koningstraat, from Oostslootstraat to Spoorstraat. During these works, the sewage system is also being renewed. The project is being carried out in phases so that the neighborhood remains accessible and disruption is kept to a minimum.
