Racing Aeolus brings you a unique race full of wind, technology, and speed in Den Helder. This is one of the four largest sustainability races in the world. You'll stand along the 5.3 km seawall as wind vehicles race against the wind. Feel the thrill, watch the teams race, and discover what innovative wind technology can do for the future.
Experience three action-packed days
Come on practice day or set up your folding chair on race days. From Tuesday through Thursday, you can watch the races from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Thursdays, there's also a drag race and a children's activity where you can build your own wind cart. Plenty to see and do for the whole family.
Feel the international atmosphere
Teams from the Netherlands and abroad compete here for the coveted Racing Aeolus Cup. This wind race attracts spectators from all over the world every year. Learn from their techniques and join the discussion about sustainable mobility.
Become part of the wind festival
