The city villa De Gouden Kroon consists of office space and two rental apartments. Commissioned by Housing Foundation Den Helder/Helder Vastgoed, the building has been completely renovated according to a design by the Helderse firm KJK Architecten, in which preserving the original character is central. The city villa is part of the restructuring of the Den Helder city centre, in which more than 200 owner-occupied and (social) rental homes will be realized by Housing Foundation Den Helder/Helder Vastgoed over the coming years.
In addition to the office space, Housing Foundation Den Helder/Helder Vastgoed is also developing two social rental homes. These will be offered on Woonmatchkopnh.nl in due course.
In early 2023, the lawyers of Knuwer moved into the iconic villa 'De Gouden Kroon', dating from the 1930s. The homes have already been rented out.
